Keeping Bay St. Louis beautiful...one flower, plant tree and project at a time.

About

The Beautification Department was separated from the Public Works Department by Mayor Les Fillingame shortly after taking office in July 2009.  The two departments continue to support one another, but have separate missions.

Projects

From planting of flowers and trees to fashion shows with recycled materials, the Beautification Department is constantly looking for ways to make Bay St. Louis a more beautiful place to live and visit.

Get Involved

Volunteers to help with the many projects have proven to be invaluable to the team.  Their time and effort along with generous donations designated for our beautification efforts contribute to our success.  Find out how you can get involved in something beautiful.

Latest Project

Girl Scout Daisy Troop 3436 created several creatove gardens made of recycled tires.  Two of the flower beds were large Daisy shaped flowers and a third design was a cute green frog with bright white eyes and red lips.  Each of the units were planted by troop members Cayless, Amelia, Kara, Kaylee, Avie; their siblings, troop leaders, parents and volunteers.
